Thanks for the news!
Hopefully they won't just do Transylvania Mania.
re: YF on Letterman#3
Posted: 1/1/08 at 8:25pmI heard the good possibility of "Roll in the Hay"
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless

re: YF on Letterman#4
Posted: 1/1/08 at 8:26pmI hope they don't make them take out all the laughs like they did on the Today show.
re: YF on Letterman#5
Posted: 1/1/08 at 8:27pmLetterman isn't as 'family friendly' as Today Show, so I would have hopes they wouldn't

Roll in the Hay would be nice. haha.
Considering the jokes in the song are no worse than what the late night talk show hosts say, I hope they leave them in.

If I remember correctly, when "King of Broadway" was done on Letterman before previews for Producers started, they did the entire number as is, only adding a bleep to "Who do you have to f*** to get a break in this town?!?!?"
Safe to say they'll leave everything in for YF.

Yeah, the Today show performances were disappointing on many levels. Let's hope this is more fun.
Tonight is the first night of new Letterman episodes, right?
re: YF on Letterman#9
Posted: 1/2/08 at 11:29amYes, tonight is the first for Letterman, Ferguson (I think), Leno and Conan. Letterman and Feguson will be scripted since Letterman struck a deal with his writers and Ferguson's. The others have to wing it. So glad Letterman is back. Will definetly tune in tomorrow night.
re: YF on Letterman#10
Posted: 1/2/08 at 11:37amI think they'd have more problems with Foster grinding on Bart than anything they say...
re: YF on Letterman#11
Posted: 1/2/08 at 11:40amThey did do King Of Broadway yes. But it was when Lane and Brodderick returned and they cut out the first verse which I didn't get.

Loved it!
And I'm so glad that they kept all the jokes in. The Tempo seemed a little slow though, or was that just me?

Posted: 1/4/08 at 12:49amThey still cut the "up/down" verse just like on...the Today Show? Unless it has been cut from the show since I saw it. I thought that could be included in late night tv.

Well it's on the Cast Recording, so it's still in the show.
It must be cut for time reasons.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 1:03amIt was boring, and not very funny. And I'm a HUGE Young Frakenstein fan, but why would I want to see a rehash of the movie? It just doesn't seem new, or exciting.
re: YF on Letterman#22
Posted: 1/4/08 at 1:42amIt is the first time I have seen the whole thing. (Only saw a bit of the Today Show performance) I too love the movie Young Frankentein. That scene was among the many classic scenes in the movie. But that number really did nothing to make me want to see the show. Sutton Foster was fun. I used to always laugh at the therewolves joke but it fell a bit flat for me in that number. JMO

re: YF on Letterman#23
Posted: 1/4/08 at 1:45amThe performance was meh, but watching the touchy-feely going on between Bart and Foster was mildly entertaining.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 3:37amYeah, the "up/down" part is only cut for time reasons - it is still in the show. I saw it the other day.
