Any clips on the site with the name we dare not to speak?
I can't find any.

Posted: 11/2/07 at 11:38pmIt's such a busily designed website, yes, it's really hard to navigate. And the video player won't work for me.

Posted: 11/3/07 at 12:06amThe Transylvania Mania number was horrible. That was elementary level choreography. I expected much more out of Susan Stroman.

Posted: 11/3/07 at 8:32pmI got to watch this at work on wednseday and I was not impressed. The songs barely kept my interest, sutton looked bored and I did laugh once. At least I didn't pay $450 a seat.

Posted: 11/3/07 at 9:11pmThe performers are wonderful...the songs are mediocre at best...I hope Mel stops with this one, as I don't think I could handle "Blazing Saddles: The Musical."

Posted: 11/3/07 at 9:17pmMy goodness, I thought these songs were wonderful. Chris F. is a WONDERFUL comedic performer. He is SURE to win a tony award! These songs are catchy and tuneful, IMO. I wish them a long and fruitful run.

"At least I didn't pay $450 a seat."
Umm, that's the premium price. The regular price is 120.
I actually am looking forward to seeing Young Frankenstein. I thought the songs were great and I loved how with Together Again and Roll in The Hay, they kept those classic jokes "What Hump?" and "Werewolves...There wolves, there castle." I especially liked the addition of the wolfman in the number.
Did anyone else notice at the end of Translyvania Mania when Roger was getting back up? He was holding his back as he was standing back up...Maybe he's still a bit sore.

So, I just saw one of the few hyped songs from the show..."Roll in ze Hay."
That was it? Was it supposed to be funny?
I thought Sutton had more taste and pride in her work.
Can't wait to see the critics chew this to bits.

Someone's posted the clips on youtube, yay.
The show looks boring, although well cast. I don't like Mel Brooks' music, but the cast does a good job with the material. Sutton's amazing. Chris F. is brilliant.

Posted: 11/5/07 at 9:56amOk so I just watched the clips on the "site not to be named" and besides Sutton Foster's amazing voice, the clips did nothing to me. And i know you cant judge a show off those clips so I wont, but I can judge the songs themselves and I just felt they were pretty boring and banal. The lyrics seemed juvenile and forced. Just my two cents.
