Dear Blueroses, rKrispyt and Eyemakeup 3 - not to diminsh your opinions by any means, because, after all, we're all entitled, and your opinions mean as much as anyone else's, I'm sure, but I was wondering: The names of the musicals you have written, choreographed, arranged, costumed, conducted, stood center stage and sang your faces off or starred in are called....? You seem to be so astute, I was just curious.
ummm...still trying to figure out if you're trying to call me out or serious, so here ya go:
Directed: Children of Eden and Songs For A New World
Choreographed: both of those as well as Footloose, Honk, Tommy, Wizard of Oz, several high school performing troupes.
Costumed: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Taming of the Shrew, She Stoops To Conquer, Romeo and Juliet.
I suck at music theory, so no writing, arranging or conducting...yet. :)
Been in: dude, this is stupid, I'm not putting my entire resume up here. No one cares, it'd take too long...ps what's your point?
I DO hold a BA in Musical Theatre from a liberal arts university in which we had to study every aspect of theatre.
I apologize that it seems I've offended you or something - just sharing my opinion. And I believe I've stated more than once that it is that - just my opinion and that everyone should see for themselves.
There is an excellent review of this show that is a thread entitled something like "review of brooklyn OR what happens when bad material happens to good performers" that puts into words what I was trying to say much more eloquently and hits the nail on the head in my opinion. Check it out.
If you loved tahe show and I offended you, I do apologize - which I believe I've done on all my posts: said that I didn't mean to offend or start an argument, just stating my opinion.
So take off them sassy pants and put on some jeans!
(ps: Y'know I'm just messin' around, right?)
Alright, I'm out...and still not sure what that post is all about Ustadance. PM me or something, cause I'm confused.

Give me a break. No need to get snarky with us personally because you may disagree with our opinions (which--if you read them--are stated pretty respectfully). I didn't shell out money WANTING a show to fail, believe me. In fact, I was crushed because I expected so much more from all of the excitement and buzz surrounding the cast and the production.
Maybe you liked the show and we thought it blew. Who cares? There's no need for any of us to back up our views by posting resumes to prove anything to you.
