Can you believe it?
I've searched and searched and found nothing, so there many not be an answer.
How long is Murney contracted for the Wicked tour?

I believe I heard 6 months. It was in an interview she did.

6 months.
And it has been mentioned here before.
I think her last day is September 3rd.

I really don't like the search engine. They need an option in which you can search JUST for the title of the thread, otherwise you get multiple threads that have nothing to do with what you're looking for.
Q: How long are you contracted with the show?
Murney: For six months.

hope that helps
It does. Looks like we won't be getting La Murney in Seattle. Hope it's not some lame understudy.

Jenna Leigh Green was fantastic when she understudied Elphaba, but she's on Broadway now.
Maria Eberline, not so much.
Yeah, after seeing the Bean move up from Standby to Lead, I'm a bit weary about Wicked standbys/understudies.

Saycon and Brandi happen to be fantastic.
And Shoshana is a great understudy.
I hope Julia comes to Broadway's Wicked.

The tour website currently lists someone named Victoria Matlock as the standby for Elphaba - is she new, and if so, does anyone know anything about her?
Shoshana is a great understudy as long as the actress playing Elphaba is never out.

I know, it's impossible!
Yea, I can never correctly operate the damn Search thing.
Jilani-
Victoria is the standby for Elphaba on tour. She joined the company when Julia did because they needed another cover for Elphaba since Jenna Leigh Green left. She went on for the first tmie recently.

I don't know if you found the answer somewhere else by now, but last Saturday I was at the show in Philly and asked Julia if San Diego in August was her last show. For some reason, I thought I had heard that somewhere before. However, Julia said that it was in September and the tour was ending for her in Tempe(sic). I have no idea where Tempe is and didn't get a chance to pursue it with her. Hope this helps.
It's in Arizona. Damn, that's the stop before my city.
Curse you Julia Murney!!!
I wonder when we'll find out if she's coming to Broadway...
Don't curse Julia! For shame!
I just curse her for not coming to Seattle. That is all.
I loves the Julia.
