Jenna Leigh Green was fantastic when she understudied Elphaba, but she's on Broadway now.

Victoria is the standby for Elphaba on tour. She joined the company when Julia did because they needed another cover for Elphaba since Jenna Leigh Green left. She went on for the first tmie recently.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Posted: 4/14/06 at 5:48pmI don't know if you found the answer somewhere else by now, but last Saturday I was at the show in Philly and asked Julia if San Diego in August was her last show. For some reason, I thought I had heard that somewhere before. However, Julia said that it was in September and the tour was ending for her in Tempe(sic). I have no idea where Tempe is and didn't get a chance to pursue it with her. Hope this helps.
