Why have I never heard of this!?
It came out sometime in the 80's i believe.
Glee Club.
haha. It's a cute special.. I had bought the VHS a few years ago.. The only flaw is the fact that.. the character's voices straining to sing the score is a little hard on your ears at times. It's definitely worth buying though. It was a cute idea to animinate the show.
Aww, yay! I found a copy of the VHS right before the opening of the production of YAGMCB that I was in... the whole cast got together and watched it
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuI loved this! It was so cute :)

Now if they would only put "Really Rosie" on DVD. I told you once, I told you twice, I told you chicken noodle soup with rice.
There is also a special of the "Snoopy" musical which I think is a stronger score and the vocals of the characters fit it better.
Omg Really Rosie was the first show I was ever in! I think it was 4th grade...
I lost out on the lead.... to a guy! His dad ran a acting class in town so he got the part!

I got introduced to the show through this special. I loved the Peanuts cartoons when I was younger, they were cute and still have a certain charm for me. It would have been interesting to see them do the songs that were added;this special was from the 80s, before the latest revival.
The part before Suppertime where Snoopy turns into a skeleton scared the crap out of me as a kid.

I'm a little biased to that one because I was in a stage production of it...but I love YAGMCB just as much. It's just a classic to me.
