Yeah the Book Report is great. That, My New Philosophy and the Kite for me. It's such a fun show in general.

I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart. -Scrubs

I'm auditioning for this show at the end of the month and I'm looking for an up-tempo comedic song that will showcase my range. I'm aiming for Charlie Brown... I'm a lyric baritone, help! Please.

How about doing a song from Urinetown for auditions. Plenty of funny stuff there

a song from urinetown would be great. or (though it's slightly overdone) corner of the sky from pippin is a perfect audition song for this show. the book report is basically the funnest song ever. expecially for the schroeders out there (like me!)... i would love love LOVE to do this show again!

Awesome, I will look into Urinetown, I think Corner of the Sky probably is really overdone... would anything from Godspell be appropriate, though?

I'm a little late but I just had to share in my enthusiasm for YGMCB! I directed the show two years ago and fell completely in love with it. It's witty and intelligent and just plain fun. What makes the show so unique is that it appears on the surface to be aimed for a younger audience, but scratch off the top layer and it has very adult themes, (exactly the way Charles Schulz intended the comic strip to be!) After I directed the show I had been wanting more than anything to play the part of Lucy and I finally got the chance! I'm heading into tech week tonight! It's so much fun being in the show and the cast, being so small, almost always establishes a close bond and strong comraderie. Congrats on the role! It will be a show you won't likely forget
