I've seen a trombone once.

Most of those guys are from THE PRODUCERS. And some people are transferring from other pits like CURTAINS and BLONDE.

A job is a job, dear. And Curtains didn't get such rave reviews after all. Besides, after you sing or play ANY music for more than a month, you are sick of ALL of it.

Well, that doesn't much matter because the real joy in doing a show is hanging out with people you love and different things happening each night, as well as performing music that you might as well get out of your head for a while.

Wait, LEGALLY BLONDE has an orchestra?

Kidding.

But it sure doesn't sound like with all the electronicness going on...wouldn't blame anyone for leaving that orchestra.

Back on topic, though, I'm excited to hear the orchestrations for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. Yeah.

Nah, it's the paycheck. By the way, how're Greg D. and Patrick B. looking these days? Last time I saw both of them, Patrick was going gray and Greg was sipping from the fountain of youth, perenially boyish. Is the latter still cracking his awful jokes or has he calmed down?

That's a nice orchestra; they actually have strings.

Are there only 2 violins?

re: Young Frankenstein Orchestra in NYC

There are 3 violins. I saw the show for the second time today because I won the lottery. It was nice sitting on the front row, not because I was closer to the action on stage, but because I was able to hear the orchestra with less amplification than parts of the house that are not near the pit.
