Posted: 2/29/08 at 11:00pmI love watching Bway commercials, since I don't live in NYC and the only time I see any is when a big scale tour comes by and I happen to be lucky enough to be watching the right channel during the (probably) 4 times they'll play it.
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

"All tickets are $50 - $120!"
I see they're trying to dispel the $450 ticket rumors, even though they're LYING!
All tickets are NOT $50 - $120.

Wow, I really liked this show but like "November" the commercials really suck. I think they should have ended it after the Putting on the Ritz number. It almost seems as if they are only going after the fans of the original movie.

Looks bad cause it is bad.
I'm sure the BERLIN Foundation would never allow
PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ to be used on a cheesy TV commercial.

Posted: 2/29/08 at 11:42pmWBaF, as unlikely as it is, but they might have gotten rid of premium seating for some performances. I just checked ticketmaster for a few random dates for performances in March, April and May and premium seating is not an option.

The commercial did not lie. Between now and June 1st....there is no premium seating. ALL tickets are regularly priced. NOW GO GET THEM!

Dave, Broadway.com caters to middle-American couch potatoes who, unless you say, the "Will & Grace" potty mouthed chick!, they won't even know you're talking about Megan Mullally, and they won't buy tickets off Broadway.com and give them they're $25 per ticket service fees -- which is the entire purpose of the site.
Do you really expect them to know who Sutton Foster is?

Posted: 3/1/08 at 12:06amI understand why, and certainly she is the biggest star in that show, but it wouldn't have been hard to add her name in also at some point. it just makes me sad because i love sutton.

They should have gone the Grand Hotel route and hunted down that woman. Imagine the rave she could have delivered!!! "I bought tickets to see it TWO more times. My husband works in the area!"

I didn't like YF at all. Great ingredients, bad cake.
And I get squicked out watching SF and RB kiss and stuff.

I love it!
Megan and Sutton both look hot!
As far a Sutton not being mentioned, well she's leaving soon to do Schrek (sp?).
