After fighting breast cancer the last 10 months, Dame Maggie Smith has returned to work.
Her new work is a children's fantasy piece by the wonderful Julian fellows entitled 'From Time To Time'. Its being filmed in the splendid setting of Athelhampton House near Doncaster.
Dame Maggie has not been on top form recently but now filming is underway she is back to her normal self. Filming has now started and is going at a great pace.
Work on the new movie was put on hold when the seriousness of 73 year old Dame Maggie's cancer became too much to allow filming to continue. A precautionary course of chemotherapy followed by radiation therapy has proved successful and her prognosis is now 'very good'!
Dame Maggie, may you take many more bows before your adoring public for many years to come.
