I know this is going to seem weird, but if they ever did a play of Thomas Hardy's "Tess of the Durbeyville's," I'd love to see Baseball's David Justice play Alec Durbeyville.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
I wonder how Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale ( remember him in the movie musical NEWSIES?) in a musical will sound together?
They have just completed a movie together called THE PRESTIGE for release in October - with Scarlett Johanson, Michael Caine and David Bowie.
Hey, that would make a first class cast for a musical!
Not too sure if Michael Caine can sing, but I have read that Scarlett can sing ( she was rumored to have been offered the lead in London revival of THE SOUND OF MUSIC but she was supposed to have turned it down)...and David Bowie is of course a pop idol and composer.

Ok, as much as I wish this cast of Les Miserables would happen, seeing that Frances Ruffelle has come of age, I know that it never will happen. But, just for a second, let's assume that we can turn back time.
Take the rest of the Dream Cast from the Tenth Anniversary Cast Edition and replace Lea Salonga for Frances Ruffelle, Ruthie Henshall for Patti Lupone, Alun Armstrong for Gary Beach, and Mark MacGuire for Anthony Warlow, and there's my dream cast for Les Miserables, excluding Gavroche, Young Cossette, Grantaire, etc. Like I said, it'll never happen, but it's *really* nice to dream about.
You insult me, I ignore you. That's how the system works around here.
