>>I like George's Prayer in Wedding Singer (Shechyanu).
It's not a musical number, but the sentences in Spelling Bee with Jewish content are great- Jihad, Phylactery, Cenacle, Quandary, Mohel.
Um, Liotte..."jihad" is an arab term for a type of war. It's not Jewish in any way (except if you include that some Arabs are against Jews, much like the extremists in that culture are against anything Western, but that's a bit of a digression so I'll stop there), and is a bit offensive that you'd use it here.
Actually, it's a bizarre message topic altogether...

No mention of 'Funny Girl'? First things that came to mind were numbers cut from the show for the movie. 'We Taught Her Everything' and 'Private Schwatrz'.

When we hear the first sweet sounds of the fiddle in the beginning of Fiddler (cliche or not, what's more "Jewish"?), my heart just swells and I'm all emotional. So I have to include "Tradition!" and "Sunrise, Sunset".
"Eat a Little Something" from I Can Get it for You Wholesale.
"A Piece of Sky" from Yentl.
"America", by Neil Diamond from The Jazz Singer, always seemed quintessentially Jewish to me.
Lovepuppy, I was referring to the sentence used with the word Jihad- "Billy, quick! Duck behind this western wall! I think I see a JIHAD coming."
I know it is not a Jewish word.
