I think mine was probably Natalie Wood, although I did enjoy Jessica Boevers a lot last summer.

Who is your favorite Louise? Who would you like to see play Louise?

I liked Natilie Wood, but she was the only one I've seen.

I have several names, one is Julian2. I am also The Opps Girl. But cross me, and I become Bitch Dooku!

I've only seen Natalie Wood and Cynthia Gibb, the rest I've heard on cast recordings. My favorite is Natalie Wood.

the first i HEARD was Zan Charisse, & i still think she's the best!
her LITTLE LAMB makes me cry!

i dont care for Sandra Church's version at all. when i heard hers, i suddenly understood why so many people dislike that song. when she asks, "i wonder how how old i am?" i yell, "42!"

however, Laura Benanti will be the first Louise ive ever SEEN, & i'm very excited!!!

i thought Tammy Blanchard really embodied "old fashioned" beauty in the most recent revival.

I'd be crazy excited to see what Nellie McKay would do as Gypsy. She absolutely blew me away in Threepenny Opera...and there's something very vintage about her.

I loved Tammy Blanchard in the role. Hers was the only characterization of Louise that I've seen that is genuinely Tomboy-ish, clumsy, drastically different from June. I think most Louise's are too pretty to begin with, which sort of takes away some of the impact of her transformation. Tammy's build is larger in stature, her speaking voice deeper and more awkward, and nothing about her Louise seemed to say "star." That is, of course, until her transformation, which was the most believeable I've seen.

Well, I love Natalie Wood in the gimmick scene (her eyes are brilliant) and in the confrontation scene with Rose. But, overall I would say Cynthia Gibb. She was the first Louise I ever experienced and I love her strip scene most of all.

Live: out of Tammy Blanchard and Deborah Gibson, none of them really did anything for me.

Hands down -- Natalie Wood.

'Live' I've only seen Zan Charisse, Christa Moore, Deborah Gibson, Tammy Blanchard and her understudy Julie Martell.
