Out of every song ever in a Broadway/Off Broadway musical which ONE would you pick as your favorite? I think I would say Rose's Turn because every time I listen to it I get so excited and it reminds me why I love theater!

For some reason, the song that immediately popped into my head was "Suddenly, Seymour" from LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Don't ask why. It just did.
While Miss Saigon is my favorite musical.... ONE SONG GLORY is the song that I kind of view as my own. It has a view like mine, and it reminds me of what I want to accomplish.
RENThead, enLIGHist, Ozalot, Grobanite, Ringer, Pickwick LW, Wicked, Lost, American Dreams, West Wing
Lea S. Hugh J. Adam P. Idina M. Matt M. Taye D.
Without You~ Rent
"I think it was the Korean tour or something. They were all frickin' asian!" -Zoran912
If I were to choose JUST ONE song, (Keep in mind, that this is almost impossible) that would have to be
"ANOTHER HUNDRED PEOPLE" from Company.
Not only is it fun to sing, but the music, and lyrics, are incredibly genius.
"Facade" from Jekyll and Hyde. No song speaks truer about society.
the impossible dream
One song???? YOU CRAZY!!!
That being said, probably Dulcinea.
Elaborate Lives - Aida. My all-time favorite song. Sigh...
TOO HARD
Memory from Cats

What You Own followed VERY closely by "What Do You Do.../It Sucks to be Me" (although the latter is the story of my life)
I changed my mind. What You Own.
(You'll probably see me a lot on this thread, changing my mind as different songs come on my iTunes)

One song....that's a tough one. The cheesy answer is Broadway Baby. It speaks of the plight of the actress.
No, got to be Louder Than Words from tick...tick...BOOM
Hey There Good Times from I Love My Wife
It always makes me happy.

impossible but if i had to pick it would be between:
Defying Gravity ~ Wicked
Another Day ~ RENT seeing it in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!
Louder Than Words ~ ttB this one isnt as high as the other 2
'Finishing the Hat' from Sunday In The Park With George
One? ONE?!?! Oh man, this is going to be hard. I'd say...eep...the CATS overture. But I'll probably end up changing my mind, so don't quote me on that!
If i had to pick i guess la vie boheme from rent. You have no idea how hard that was!!!!!!!
I have to say The Lady's who Lunch. Yes, it does top a little priest but it does by a tenth of a point. The lyrics have such meaning to them about life and about what you have choosen to be. Sondheim's best song.
