Mine has a little bit of a back story:
Last summer (Summer 2006) I attended the South Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanitys for Drama. It was the only time a group of kids my age had ever accepted me, and befriended me, and I had NEVER had such a close bond as I do with those people
Well, when the summer program was over, we all went are separate ways, but vowed to keep in touch.
So, I decided I was going to organize a group trip to go see the RENT tour in NC. I got the people who wanted to go, and I got the tickets for January 07.
During this time we knew it would be are last time together as a group. We were all about to audition for the Residential high school there. 25 of us where there that summer, and only 14 of us where going back. And we where all stressed and on the point of emotional break downs.
So we get there, and If seeing everyone again is not emotional enough, the show did it for me. I had seen RENT before, but this was the only time I had EVER gotten so emotion in a show.
Walking out of that theater, after seeing the show I loved, with the people I loved, tears still on my face was really the best moment I have EVER had walking out of a show
And just a side note, I got in for residential, and many of my friends did too

Looking back, for me it's leaving The Year of Magical Thinking. I'm wrapped in such a spell...I'm thinking about it for days and weeks afterwards. I love that trembly, shaky, "this can't be over yet" feeling... It's hard to explain. After the first time I saw it, I called my parents and told them to get their calendars together and I would call them in the morning to get a weekend tickets were available and they could come up...and at first my mom thought something was wrong because I was sobbing.
LOVE it!!
LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!

...seeing "42nd Street" before I started rehearsals, and thinking 'Oh my goodness. That's going to be me up there in one week!'

Laugh if you want to, but the MAMA MIA ending numbers after the curtain call are genius!
What a party that creates iun the aisles!
Truly the best feeling ever leaving the theater after that!
BRAVO!
