What shows did you see that had the strongest cast?
For me: Wicked, Contact, Avenue Q, and Metamorphases

... and I have to mention Cabaret. I loved the final cast.
I'm really looking forward to Avenue Q. The cast looks like they're amazing.

Not to be redundent, but I agree that Avenue Q has a very strong cast. Also:
The Boy From Oz
Hollywood Arms (past tense of course)
Gypsy (the latest revival)
Taboo
Urinetown (which, as of today is past tense)
The Women (also past tense)

I love when a cast works so well together. It makes the show so much more memorable. :)

the orginal broadway cast of rent! just look at that cast
daphne rubin-vega, athony rapp, idina menzel, taye diggs, adam pascal and jesse l martin. even the ensemble was awesome.

Avenue Q- Although how can you fail with material like that?

Nine(Original Revival Cast)-Not a weak point in the cast....and filled with stars.

TMM- I just feel like this is one cast that never just "calls it in"....especially Sutton

My favourite cast, for which I had no qualms whatsoever, was the 1990 cast of NYCO's production of A Little Night Music.

Trivia.... Frederick Egermann in that production was Frid in the original Broadway cast.

Most definitely the Hairspray original cast. In addition, I really, really loved the Zanna, Don't cast, especially Rob Sapp, who I have the BIGGEST crush on.

I agree that Rent had one of the best orginal casts ever. Some other great casts from Broadway and Off-Broadway:
