Your upcoming season (school, community, professional theatre)

What is your season lineup for this upcoming season?

I have the following auditions to prepare for:

PRELUDE TO A KISS
THE MUSIC MAN
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
PICNIC
THE HEIDI CHRONICLES

I'm doing BYE BYE BIRDIE right now as Ursula at a theater in Boston!! Technically my second time in the role...but not really because I was booted three days before opening last time due to car troubles and not being able to make it to the Sunday tech. *Grr* That was in June and I already got the role again, though, so it's all good, not complaining. :-p

As far as auditions go, I have some coming up for GODSPELL, BAT BOY and maybe a couple others, not sure yet. I really wanna be Maggie in BAT BOY but I don't know if I can do the show because of possible conflicts. Break a leg on your auditions! :)

THE PRICE by Arthur Miller
THE INNOCENTS (based on Henry James' "The Turn of thre Screw")
A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD (Musical)
MERCY OF A STORM by Jeffrey Hatcher
STY OF THE BLIND PIG by Phillip Hayes Dean
TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE by Charles Busch
JOHN & JEN by Andrew Lippa (musical)

I will be musical director for the two musicals (my primary occupation), and stage managing for the straight plays (srictly for the money and the Equity health insurance).

I am only available to audition for two shows at my school this year:
Our Town
Cinderella

The school across the street (which I could have auditioned for) is doing:
The Laramie Project
Angels in America

Unfortunately, I'm unable to audition for those shows, or anything else on my school's dockett. Damn.
I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

Up-coming school season: A Christmas Carol and AIDA

Local seasons: GYPSY (just closed; w/ myself as Tulsa), THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, CRAZY FOR YOU.

MY FAIR LADY, WAIT UNTIL DARK, LEND ME A TENOR, BIG RIVER

INTO THE WOODS, JOSEPH..., ALL BECAUSE OF AGATHA, NUNSENSE

OLIVER, ...FORUM
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...

School: The Yellow Boat, The Laramie Project, She Stoops To Conquer, The Mikado, The White Rose, and And Then They Came for Me and one more show TBA

The Community Theater I frequent: Tommy, Death of A Salesman, Pippin, Run for Your Wife, and Seussical

other community theaters around me: A Little Night Music, Escanaba in Da Moonlight, A New Brain, Steel Magnolias, Side Show, Man of LaMancha, and Nine are some of the bigger ones that come to mind.

chicago- directed by and starring me (as Billy Flynn)
jeckyll and hyde- auditioning soon (tho the title role is precast...bastards)

The theater I work at is doing:

CRAZY FOR YOU (just opened this past weekend)
BUNNICULA
NARNIA
CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN
THE STINKY CHEESE MAN
THE TRUE CONFESSIONS OF CHARLOTTE DOYLE
REDWALL: THE LEGEND OF REDWALL ABBEY

The other theater I work with occasionally is doing:

I don't know what we're doing, but I know this-teh opne production we have has really professional crew (The director/producer's worked on Broadway and did a movie with Bernadette Peters, the musical director is the rehearsal pianist for Avenue Q) and yet our shows always suck. Why? Our cast really really sucks. They're all really pathetic and have no talent. The one good thing I can say about the show is teh set and they worked hard on it.
Moo with me! And I was Elphaba the Good so if anything that I post sounds like her, it's because I am her!

Right now I'm in Joseph. We've already done Oklahoma, Our Town, King and I and Annie Get Your Gun (summer stock!) and still have 42nd Street coming up. It's pretty insane.

I'm directing a cabaret show right now.
Then it's Bianca in Kiss Me Kate.
And then possibly Jesus Christ Superstar or Crazy for You.
Then I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
Then SLEEP!

Contracts I've signed thus far for the winter season:

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, A CHRISTMAS STORY, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, MAN OF LA MANCHA, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, FALSTAFF, CARMEN, MISS SAIGON, GREASE, ... FORUM (a remount, but with some new costume designs), THE GRADUATE, THE "IT" GIRL, WEST SIDE STORY, DARK OF THE MOON. Gonna be a busy season.
