Ooh, and I love me some Sherie Rene. And she's due for a nomination. But I'm still not sure if she would be a lead. We'll have to wait and see what the committee decides.

And Ramona will most likely be considered Featured.

I really want Sutton to win, but it won't be bad if Valerie Clark wins. But would Ramona Keller be up for Actress or Featured Actress?

I'm really hoping the best for Christina Applegate as Charity. It seems like a good fit. Can't wait to see her!

I think Cleavant could be nominated for featured actor for Brooklyn. I think he has done wonders with the role.

I think Ramona and Eden's parts are about the same but since Eden's character is named Brooklyn, she gets "lead" credit.

back to Zanna, don't. I saw it once and during intermission Jai got sick so his understudy (who was like 6'1) came on and once the audience realized that the guy was Zanna, we all got into it again.

Also, Enrico was in it and I love him. I have unintentionally followed him around these last 2 years. Zanna, don't --> Fame on 42nd st ---> Rent!! He's adorable!

I loved it. I saw it a few weeks before it closed. What concerns me was that the small off-Broadway house was half empty on a Friday night......Does it have enough "mainstream" appeal, considering the Disney Mentality of today's Broadway "mainstream" audiences, to sustain a run on the Big Street?

Love the musical. Not crazy about Jai. I, personally think his voice is too weak.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I agree he doesn't have as big a voice as many people, but I don't think it's weak. I think the combinatino of his looks and his delivery make him a really perfect Zanna. Right now it's a little hard to see John Tartaglia as the part, but I'm sure he has his own terrific spin on it.

I love this show! It's one of my favorite recordings, and the songs are amazing. I never got to see it unfortunately, that's why I'm so excited about Zanna! this spring.

I'd love to see Jai back in the role, but John Tartaglia might work really well.

I like Zanna! Though not very deep or thought-provoking, it is a fun musical to listen to, especially if you aren't feeling too swell. Jai equals Queer Eye love!

A friend of mine went in to read and sing for Zanna people a few weeks ago, so I don't think plans have "fallen through" on the production. Maybe it's just been delayed.

Also, I remember reading something saying that Michael Arden might be in the cast...I don't know as who, but that would be AMAZING! Anyone else agree?

Should this Broadway production actually happen Jai will not be in it. From a production source he has become "difficult".
