oops..i thought it said 2 males and i female..my bad.
and i think no one is alone is a quartet..never mind!!!
depends on what mood you want to go for. There are probably some good ones but I could only name a few from the top of my head. There's Les Mis "A Heart Full of Love." There's Aida's "A Step Too Far" or "Not Me" can be done, but there's actually two guys and two girls there. Then you can also do Secret Garden's "I heard someone crying." Even though the girl is a young child, she can be done with a mezzo (besides that song is just so wonderfully taunting).

Upbeat...upbeat...only thing that comes to mind at the moment is "Easy Street" from Annie.
I've seen You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspary performed that way.

Not sure what mood you're looking for, but "One Plus One Equals Three" from Side Show.

How About....
Steam Heat from Pajama Game
Everyone's a Little Bit Racist from Avenue Q
And...if you're tenor is a true tenor...You could do something original and sing...
You could drive a person crazy from Company
At the Ballet from A Chorus Line
Have a great show!
Beedle dee dee dee dee...Two ladies...Beedle dee dee dee dee...Two Ladies...Beedle dee dee dee dee....And I'm the only man, Ja!

Maybe A Heart Full of Love, Eponine is Mezzo-esque in that song...

I believe there's something from Lippa's "The Wild Party," but I'm sorry that I can't tell you the name. Julia Murney, Idina Menzel, and one of the lead male characters.
I guess it's not exactly upbeat, but The I Love You Song from Spelling Bee. My friends just sang this at a festival type thing and it was INCREDIBLE. I got chills every time I heard it. Of course you really need to be a tenor to sing that part.
"Trying not to Notice" - The Woman in White (really nice song!)
I'd Do Anything For Him - KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN

"Been a Long Day" from HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS...
I think 30/90 from tick, tick...BOOM is very catchy and a fun opening number. I think you could get away with a girl singing the Michael part an octave up.
since jon stole mine- listen to jesus, jimmy from reefer madness could work in a modified way

these are all great suggestions! next year me and my 2 friends are doing our senior showcases next year. We're doing it in a Cabaret style and we are def up for ideas! We also came up with the idea of Heart and Music from A New Brain but I'm not sure yet. But these are all great and if u can think of more that be great! I actually did think of Been A Long Day as well...I love that song! But still trying to think of a good opening act and closing act as well! And it can be any song that can be done with 3 people, like taking a solo song and truning into a 3 person song. Those are tough to think of! You guys rock and than you!
The I Love You Song is incredible.
