Marc,

Please do not mistake my information and factual information about the letters in your name as "ass kissing." It was nothing of the sort. It was merely an observation I wanted to pass onto the readers of this site who might have been curious should they drop a bunch of scrabble tiles into a hat and pull them out. I didn't want them to be SHOCKED at what they might see!

Trish,

does your post imply I act like I dont eat, **** and sleep? Lord knows I do, lately all at the same time!

Seriously, I am getting so bummed out by the implication I hang my "status" over these proceedings..I simply don't...If others sense I do, I dare say they are overlaying their own feelings on me

One more time...I LIKE being part of this community (well, at least MOST of the people in this community) for I am just another theatre geek with a computer. I CANNOT be blamed for having a ****load of experiences that are fun to share.

Can we not get beyond this?

and damn, I just did two of those things you mentioned...gotta run Updated On: 7/9/04 at 11:14 AM

Marc, and others;

Seriously, I want to thank you for posting. This is a vibrant community that has brought me friends, accquaintances, and arch-rivals of the highest caliber.

I often point to Marc's posts to lend some credibility to the hours that I spend here. My darling love is unimpressed with my BWW.com addiction, but after several trips to 'Hairspray', countless viewings of 'Down with Love', a couple of trips to 'Sister Act', and a certain Bette Midler biopic... I am granted a shriek of delight with Mr. Shaiman appreciated my photoshop work or commentary. I admit it, I'm an attention crazed hussy... It isn't that Marc's status makes him any different on the boards than any one of us. I'd pick on him too, if he ever said anything that I disagreed with.

It is truly like we're a big family... We've got cool uncles, some crazy ones, savvy peers, a couple revolutionaries and our favorite Auntie Dame.

Thanks, and my best to you all...
Christopher Keaton.

Oh Good Lord CKeaton, now they're gonna start in with the suck up posts again

but I feel your giddiness (as opposed to sucking up) and am appreciative of the good natured quality to your posts

why is that so hard to comprehend?

and believe me, I am probably capable of more intense sarcasm and shocking remarks than even the worst in here, but I don't post things on a public forum that are meant to be shared with friends while laughing over dinner...is that two-faced? I think it's just some twisted modern version of good manners.

what I'm trying to say is I'M NO ANGEL and I don't act like I am

In all honesty, Marc's greatest gift is that he IS BEING HIMSELF HERE, a passionate and intelligent theater geek with a super fast modem line and an even quicker wit, that's what made me want to kiss his behind, not the friggin' Tony or many Oscar nominations...

If anything be jealous he's Woo and Ree's Daddy!

Auntie Dame?
I like it!

And this family concept certainly explains the antics of crazy Uncle Mambo.

I think all ANYBODY can do is just be themselves. You, Mr. Shaiman, have nothing to explain - and neither does anybody else. Go about our business, and let people think what they will. In the end, if you're true to yourself, that's all that matters.

Careful Marc.
"Ahhhhhhhhh" is a Phantom2 trademark, which much like "suck-up" can be a verb, noun, adjective, or anything else you make of it.

I'm finding that some people in their natural state enjoy being cranky. Some not. We are certainly a melting pot. Or pit.

Cheers all!

I hate it when people describe anything (usually the USA) as a "melting pot".
I have a replacement analogy:

It's like a salad.
You got tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, peppers, lettuce, etc.
They are united under the same dressing, but each manages to maintain its own unique flavor.

The melting pot thing is dumb.
It's like putting the salad in a blender.
Ewwwwww...

is it my imagination, or has Flowery's last two posts made NO SENSE in context of what we're talking about??

does the board have it's wires crossed? does Flowery? do I?

As far as I can tell, Flowery is just responding to the specific posts that CKeaton makes. They make sense to me if you read his as well.
