Shoshana Bean. Her Broadway medley at her Ars Nova concert was pretty amazing.

While both Laura Benanti and Kelli O'Hara CAN belt, their chest voices are nowhere near the quality of their sopranos.

Pamela Isaacs (who should do more on Broadway)
I completely forgot about Pamela Isaacs. Incredible voice. What is she up to now?

I should have mentioned Emily Skinner; her upper register has always impressed me!
I can't believe I forgot Celia, either.
Oh, Marla Schaffel is another. And Joanna Ampil; I had no idea she had it in her until I heard her sing "I Believe in Love" from Hair.
Sutton Foster definitely has a strong belt.
Jennifer Hope Wills and Sandra Joseph are great sopranos.
Lauren Molina has a surprisingly strong belt to go with her lovely soprano.

Leah Hocking sang both Lucy and Emma in Jekyll & Hyde. Still was the best Donna in Mamma Mia. (My opinion)
Actually the real queen of this style is Joan Diener, but unfortunately she passed away this year.
But, if nobody said Christiane Noll, she is very good and Debbie Gravitte has shown off her soprano lately. Also, Emily Skinner has really impressed me with her operatic like soprano, I only knew her as a belter until recently (Broadway By The Year is a great concert series).
Don't forget Barbara Cook.

Rachel York, for sure. I'm so glad she'll be displaying that lovely soprano again in Camelot on tour.
