A) I am not a shill, I simply enjoyed the show and was stating my reasons why.
B) Nothing has been uncovered, because it is unfair to comment on a production which you have not seen.
C) It will get at least one Tony Nod (most likely for lighting)

RadioTV: Paradox WAS NOT talking to you.

And it will not recieve a single nomination - it doesn't deserve any. The lighting was abominable - it deserves nothing.

Infinite: No, I haven't seen it, but FORBIDDEN BROADWAY takes a nice stab at it. They perform FUN FUN FUN, but have replaced the lyrics with DUMB DUMB DUMB. It's great.

I watched the show too and if anything it made me want to run screaming in the other direction. I cringed through so much of the footage = particularly any fottage of Sebastian Arcelus singing off-key. And why are girls dancing in bikinis and Ug boots?

Don't even get me started on the Ugg Boots. I was like..WHAT ARE THEY DOING?

The cherry on the cake for me was at the end of act one when they (no, I'm not making this up) throw the surfboards down on the floor, stand on them, and pretend to surf. I thought I was seeing things.

Oooh. Munk, I may have to go back and see Forbidden Bway again... it sounds like they put a lot of new stuff in, and if you liked it as much as it sounds, it must be a good, solid edition of the show.
I'm just sick of seeing that damn Annie section.

The annie thing is really short.

The need to cut BEAUTY'S BEEN DECREASED, THE PRODUCERS skit, and LETS RUIN TIMES SQUARE AGAIN. They're not funny.

Munk, The reason that Bobby is wearing the exact same clothes at the end as in the very beginning, is because he is the same person (age wise) at the beginning he is introducing the story. That is why he is in the same clothes. So see you aren't dumb because of seeing the show.
And I will remind you again, that just because you don't like something doesn't mean others won't. You need to stop assuming that your taste is all there is.

The reason they don't give the date is to show you that the story is timeless. It is not a period piece. The whole wanting to go away from home, finding out what it means to "figure it out" didn't just happen at one point in time. It's about growing up.

Sinenome, I should have read the whole thread before I tried to respond to Munk. You responded most excellently, and for personal reasons I thank you

Thanks, KJP. It's pretty amazing that this whole thread started with jonartdesigns' comment: "am i the only one who secretly and rather shamefully wants to see good vibrations now? It seems like good ol' fluff with little substance but hell." It didn't take long for the thread to degenerate into my being called a shill, a bitch and being told to go f**k myself.

Contrary to an earlier assertion, I didn’t stop responding because I’m a shill who was uncovered. I stopped because I realized I was responding to one person who’s never worked on Broadway and another who’s never even seen a Broadway show. I simply took Munk’s advice that they weren’t worth my time. You, on the other hand, I’m happy to converse with!

Munk, seriously dude, you need to go back on the OCD medication. While you are waiting for the meds to kick in get a thesaurus and find some synonyms (that means a words meaning the same as another) for CRAP. You're as bad as the poster who came on saying that if GV didn't get decent reviews it would close the end of Feb., and yet it's now the 1st of March.
You are right, the critics hated the show, they didn't hate the performers however, so how can you say there was nothing good. AND as it has been pointed out to you several times, yet you chose to ignore, it did get some good reviews.
What is your deal? Did you audition for the show and not get in? Are you a Riedel, or Ben B. want to be? I assume you're a student or else stealing tickets by posing as one, so go to class, do your homework and maybe you grow up to be a productive member of society, PLEASE!!!!!!! Just my opinion!

sinenome, Keep up the rumour control. The SHILL thing cracks me up. I love the fact that anyone who disagrees, or (god forbid) may actually know what they are talking about, is called a SHILL!! (by a small portion of posters) I love when you adress some of the riduculus comments made. You are very articulate and it's great to read your comments.

Thanks, kudzu. I think you may be a little too harsh on Munk, though. He did use the word "abominable" in one of his posts!

Munk- You need to take a yoga class or somethin'. There's no reason to curse at other board members and get all diva-like because people disagree with you.

kudzu- You must be referring to the infamous Tommyboyz. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
