i just read that they arent coming to broadway... theyre only becoming stage versions in the park... sorry about the false alarm guys.

They are already at Disneyland. Great shows for a theme park...They also had many stars from Broadway perform/performing in Aladdin..including Michael Lee (Miss Saigon), Miles Wesley(Lion King), DeeDee Magno (Miss Saigon, Mickey Mouse Club), Roxanna Taga (Rent, Miss Saigon), Nick Santa Maria (The Producers)...etc...etc.

When the show first opened, I was there constantly. It was great seeing some of my favorite Broadway stars up on the stage. To top it off, they perform up to 4 shows a day.
The flying carpet is a pretty cool effect...they did a great job with the show.

4 shows a day! gosh! i was watching 'a whole new world' and the fly carpet affect really impressed me!

I feel like Aladdin would be so much better then Tarzan or Little Mermaid which are planned for Bway!

aladdin would be GREAT.... the theme park version is quite cheesey in many ways....
I wonder what a great director could do with it... and I would HAVE to be Aladdin.. opposite Jessica Grove as Jasmine and Chris Sieber as the Genie!

OK...I looked at pics from disneyland aladdin, and Iago looks the same as Zazu from The Lion King...real original, and the guy who plays aladdin...eww...ugly. Not a good lookin' guy for such a sexy part.

he is my stand-by/alternate! that role is HUGELY demanding. 
(it takes SOOO much more talent to stand-by/understudy in my book!)
