Amazon.com has changed back the cast recording release date to the original, which is May 10th.

Wild ... just checking around locally, called Borders, they say
not this week, next week. I call Tower, they say yep, it's there today.

OntheAisle...which Tower did you go to? I was at the Tower on Avenue of the Arts and they had it. Sort of pissed that they didnt have it on sale like they did for Spamalot, but they still had it.

Sony/BMG has been trying to get all the new cast recordings out "as soon as possible." I know that they were shipping "when ready" which means that this release might show up at different times in different places. Today was the official release date, but I know not all stores had recieved all their orders. Rather than postpone it a full week, they shipped what they had with more to come ASAP.

Has anyone been able to find this in New York City today? I tried the Virgin Megastore at Union Square and J&R and they didn't have DRS or Pacific Overtures! Did they really both come out today, and if so, do you know who might have them in the city? Thanks!

Virgin, on Sunset in LA, did not have DRS today but did have Pacific Overtures, which I bought.

I went to FYE at my local mall today and they had like five copies of it. Of course, I bought one (even though it was 20 bucks!...I'm cheap lol). I cannot wait...I go to see the show on the 19th...

I can tell you that the FYE at 6th and 52nd doesn't have DRS. I called Virgin in Times Square and Tower in Trump, and the customer service sucked, but I don't think they have them either. The Barnes and Noble at 5th and 48th only carrys the top 50 CDs. Have you had any luck since your post?

I just cancelled my order and re-ordered it.

My original order said it would be here by the 19th and I cant wait that long! My new order will be here on Thursday the latest.
