Hi friends...planning my annual spring trip to NYC to binge on theater which we all know can get extremely expensive fast! Anyone with discount codes they'd like to share is greatly appreciated!

The show just went on sale yesterday. Discounts most likely won't show up until two months before, if at all.

I just received an Email with a discount from TheaterMania. Not very good, Orchestra is still $125.
$125* ORCHESTRA

The email is inaccurate. The discount is actually:
$125 orchestra
$119-$125 select front mezzanine
$59-$79 rear mezzanine

Is anyone else who's using Safari getting a "too many redirects" error message when they try to buy tickets for Carousel using the discount code on Telecharge? I bought tickets for another show on Telecharge last week and had no problem.
I've followed all the recommended steps for getting rid of a "too many redirects" error message (removing Telecharge from the list of websites in "Website data", selecting "Always allow cookies", etc.), but nothing works. Just wondering if this is a general problem with Telecharge, or if it's just me.

It's not just you. This morning, I couldn't get any browser on my laptop to work, and I wanted to choose my seat. I had to circumvent the mobile site on my iPhone, and that worked for me. Here's the link to the page I started on. Just open it or paste it into your phone browser, then hit the home tab, and enter the code. You should be able to access the "Find Tickets" tab after that.

That's exactly the point. The fact that a non-discounted ticket these days hovers at the $170 mark, making $125 a discount is completely insane. I don't know who is paying these prices but clearly there are a lot more rich people in this world than I thought possible.

Agree with you Matt...Broadway ticket prices are out of control but it is what it is! I go to NYC once a year and see everything I want to see...I'm far from rich but love theater so what can you do? That's why any discount codes help. And I save money by not eating at expensive restaurants in the city:)

You make it sound as if $170/$125 is the only price point. There are other less expensive seats. I chose to spend $79, but $59 was also an option. This is also the case with many other shows, not to mention the discounts at TKTS, and rush/standing room/lottery tickets. Theatre these days doesn't always have to break the bank.

I got $79 tickets for the first row of the rear mezzanine, and from where I sat at Great Comet I thought they were well worth the price. Nobody is saying you have to shell out a fortune to see this!

I guess I'm unclear why Carousel, which opens in March, should be offering steep discounts in advance?!
Once a currently-running show isn't selling, it gets easier to go cheaper, but do we really think Carousel with that cast is going to have a bumpy ride its first few months? So, I see the early discount as more of a gift to the early enthusiasts (many of whom would have caved at $169 anyway).

haterobics, no one said anything that they should be offering steep discounts. I simply asked if anyone had one to share and someone did. And I'm grateful for it. And if they hadn't, I would buy full price tickets anyway. But as I said, any discounts help as seeing theater adds up very quickly.

I'm in the same boat. 7 shows in 5 days at the end of April. With hamilton tix already I'm wanting to save where I can do thanks as always to these boards for letting my inner theatre nerd live without breaking the bank

Thank you for this. I managed to get some good mezz seats for $125 ($136 total including fees). So excited for this production! Perhaps it is an early bird sale for fans. It's similar to the 2nd or 3rd row center orch for SITPWG when they were priced at non-premium prices for a while.
As far as regular prices go, this seems to be in the same level as other recent revivals with well-known actors in the Bway community.

Similar to the discount code for The Band's Visit, this one doesn't show up on any internet searches. So, it seems as if only people who are actively involved in the theatre community on some level, through email alerts, message boards, etc., are privy to them right now.
