i have some auditions comin' up w/ in the next month and i have some in mind, but i'm always looking 4 some more. i'm 14 and i'm a mezzo-sorprano/sorprano. the songs HAVE 2 b broadway. thoughts?

well i know how you feel I too am in the same range. you need songs that showcase your unique vocal qualities> For example if you can hit the hightnotes really well or if you have a belty voice. It also depends on the show. if you could tell me what you have in mind and what shows you're going for maybe i could help.

Word of advice from someone who just spent an entire day accompanying auditions:
Don't pick anything too new, too different to play,or too obscure. I'm not the greatest sight reader, and there are many who are much worse than me.
No one is going to cast you because they are impressed with how clever your chioce of song is. Pick something nice, something easy to play, that you can sing well.
AND FOR GOD SAKE - bring music that's easy to read, in the correct key!
