Does anyone know anything about the review starting here starting now, or the song "i think i may want to remember today?" Thanks everybody!
re: Unknown Broadway Songs...

How about "Disneyland" from Smile it's an awesome song
re: Sondheim or Webber?

I may be young and i may not know too much, but from my experiences i don't think you can compare the two, no one is better than the other. They have completely differnt styles and strenghts. They've both had their triumphs and flops yet they are both credited as two of the most respected composers of our time, so why even try and choose who's better, sure we all have our opinions and prefered styles and genres but in a completely non-subjective and non-bias way there is no "best". Thats my opin
re: Duets... help!

Thank you soo much. I'm really sorry, i'm pretty new so i didn't know that there was already a very similar thread. Thanks again that'll really help.
re: Duets... help!

Ya thanks, we've actually got For Good on the program but we can't really do two from wicked. Thanks!!

Duets... help!

Hey! I've been looking for a duet for two girls to do suitable for ages 13-16 mezzo-soprano range. Having a really hard time finding one that isn't overdone. If anyone has any ideas that'd really help!
re: songs that you cant stand

"being Alive"
"nothing" used to like it but i've heard too many bad renditions

re: Ms. Duff on Broadway

I don't even think Hailey ia that much of a singer i mean have you heard their duet? She's obviosly the better one but how hard is it to be better than Ms. Duff.
re: best divas/best belting!!

I love Idina Menzel in anything but I epecially love Defying Gravity, No Good Deed, (i wouldn't realy call the wizard and i a belty song)but i love it anyway and take me or leave me.
re: The Audition Post (Songs and Monologues)

I think "always a bridesmaid..." (I love you you're perfect... ) is a great song and it has comedy but if you're going to do it make sure you have an accent or ot i once saw a girl who switched from an accent to not then to a different one it was awful.
re: best audition songs.

sorry but if u don't tell me i can't help

re: BARE CD

Thanks very much! I really hope it does come out soon! And i'm glad i made you listen to bare it's a great musical.

re: best audition songs.

well i know how you feel I too am in the same range. you need songs that showcase your unique vocal qualities> For example if you can hit the hightnotes really well or if you have a belty voice. It also depends on the show. if you could tell me what you have in mind and what shows you're going for maybe i could help.

BARE CD

Does anybody know when the full CD will be available for BARE?
re: Weirdest show ever done by a high school

My friends high school did les mis! Les mis? Are you joking me i know amateur theatre companies (very good ones) that wouldn't even take on les mis! Any the guy who was the JVJ apparently only sang in the range of JVJ's sustained note in bring him home. EWWW!

re: Do you need to be an expert in this to be on Broadway?

I really don't hope so cause i can pick out a tune and somewhat get the rhthym and melody but other than that i don't really read music my piano ranges from mary had a little lamb to the melody for somewhere over the rainbow. Let's just say I'm no pro. But I'd really like to be on broadway someday (like so may do) but hey I'm still young i have time i guess.
Favourite modern composer/lyricist ?

I don't know i think schwartz and sondheim are a tie!
re: Guys Ballads

I'd say

Role of a Lifetime-BARE
Close Every Door- Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
And it's not realy a balad (i don't think) but it's sad and it made me cry
Bring Him Home from les Mis

ouch...

Joey Fatone in anyting-- it's bad enough he couldn't sing in n'sync now why does he have to not be able to sing on Broadway!
re: A New One---Cleverest Lyric

I always thought in wicked-- the foreshadowing in The Wizard and I ( I'd be so happy i could melt) and ( a celebration throughout Oz that's all to do with me) Followed in Wonderful when the wizard sings (there'll be such a hoop de doo a celebration throughout Oz thats all to do with you) BTW the Glinda part goes: unusually and excedingly peculiar and all together quite impossible to describe...
