Well folks I got back from NYC yesterday after seeing three Broadway shows over the weekend I start off with the first show that I saw:

Friday Feb 25 8:00 showing of Movin’ Out

My parents and I had 4th row seats and were to the side so we could see what was happening off stage. I know people are going to hate me for liking this show but I don’t care! It was a great show even though it is all dancing. We had Ron Todorowski understudy for Eddie and Wade Preston in for Michael. Both were amazing but I thought Wade did a much better job in the second act. The rest of the cast was amazing as well as the band.

After the show we went to the stage door were Elizabeth Parkinson came out and signed people's Playbill. But it was cold so we left after a few minutes.

Saturday Feb 26 2:00 showing of DRS

Our seats were row b in the mezz so we had really good seats. The show was a bit late in starting but it was okay. Let me just say this is the funniest show that I have ever seen. The acting is wonderful thanks to a very talented cast and the music is very catchy. John Lithgow was great as well everyone else but the news here is Norbert. He was so funny as Freddy and just stole the show. I don’t want to spoil the show too much because I want people to be surprise about what happens. The best part was when Norbert and John sang “Dirty Rotten Number” after the finished the audience went nuts and applauded for a few minuets afterward.

After the show ended it was a rush to the stage door where after five minutes of waiting John came out and signed playbills. Norbert came out shortly afterward and signed playbills and I got my picture take with him. A few minutes later Gregory Jbara came out signed playbills, I also had my picture taken with him. But there was a bus near by and a kid asked for him to get on which he did and he signed people’s playbills.

Saturday Feb 26 8:00 showing of Twelve Angry Men

We had row g seats for this show. I had only seen a Middle school production of this show but it was called Twelve Angry Jurors. Anyway it was a very good show the whole cast was amazing I don’t know what else to say but you should see it before it closes.

Why would people hate you for really liking MOVIN' OUT? I think it's wonderful.

MOVIN' OUT's not really a jukebox musical...it actually has some artistic merit to it.

I know I like it because it's differant then shows like Mamma Mia or GV. I saw Mamma Mia and thought it was fun but then again it was my first Broadway show.
