I think thatw as it - so SAD!!!!
Did anyone realize, that was just about the same role she played on Frasier.
At first they doubt her, then she steps foward with awesome ideas that they like!

They said her name along with REAL (outside of Broadway) celebrities. Broadway is slowly taking over the world.

I admit that Cheno is most likely going to be type-casted in these sort of roles, but since I adore Cheno, I'm just happy to see her. For you Cheno haters out there who watch this show, at least got to hear CJ call her character a pixie in a very unflattering tone.

I don't know that she's typecast in this role.
We saw 3 minutes of tv time...she provided a nice foil for Toby and I believe (based on upcoming episode plots) she's slated to be promoted to more than a media consultant.
and will someone clear a space for Janney's next Emmy, she was nothing short of brilliant last night

she will have a recurring role on this show as the new press secretary. Happy for Kristin (and for Roger Bart in his recurring role on Desperate Housewives) but hope that doesn't mean they won't be around to do stage work.
Look at what happened with Victor Garber going on Alias? He is successful there and making more money but we MISS him on stage in NYC.

It was mildy scary to see kristin chenoweth pop up on my favorite TV show that happens to be an intense political drama.
I'm guessing that she will become a central character in a very short amount of time, quite similar to the Ainslee Hayes of a few seasons ago.
It's strange to see her because I have trouble blending her in with the rest of the cast. I'm just glad the proudcers didn't pick a high profile actress to take the slot.
