In the summer of 2000 I was the assistant stage manager at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, NY. The second show that season was Evita featuring a then up and coming Leslie Kritzer, who was phenomenal. Since then I have been waiting for the Broadway revival that would allow her to bring her Eva to a much, much wider audience.
