For the singer with the classical straight up soprano voice who is still working today and sounds great when singing soprano, Laura Benanti.

Favorite Broadway soprano of all time... hard to choose between Barbara Cook, Julie Andrews, and Rebecca Luker.

Laura Benanti is losing her beautiful upper register, I'm afraid. In "How Could I Ever Know," she had to belt/mix a lot of the high notes.
