ladies and gentlemen, whether you like it or not:
"Hedwig & The Angry Inch."
Now THAT'S what I call a movie musical.

Posted: 11/8/03 at 7:00pmHairspray has been my favorite movie for like 10 years!! Everyone laughed at me, but then it became a musical and suddenly it's the greatest thing. I have yet to see the musical though.

Yes, I know the movie was horrible in comparison to the show, but I have to love it for Vicki Frederick as Sheila

Posted: 11/9/03 at 1:13pmGonna have to say the film version of "A Funny Thing Happenend on the Way to the Forum". Zero Mostel is a big, fat, sweaty beautiful, mess. Not to mention the cameo by Buster Keaton. The film is just absolutely absurd in its presentation. In no way is it good, but's it a great psychedelic laugh fest...especially when polluted...

The Sound of Music
And again, will ignore any comments towards this one...Mame.

I forgot, I also love that Thoroughly Modern Millie was adapted into a staged production.
