Thank God

What is life without the obligatory "flop shows that need to be on cd" thread

I will give you credit my boy. You are like a junkyard dog & will not give up. If we could harness this energy, we could power NYC

Ah the exurberence of youth

Bryan I've been so worried about you. I look for a new cast recording thread every night. I won't sleep soundly until those shows are recorded, especially Hot Feet.

Hey, I think we should write an angry letter to Chuckie Schumer demanding the Congress vote on forcing the release of Lestat. Hey I liked the show

If that does not work, have Hillary make its release a campaign promise

As much as everyone hated it....I would love to have Lestat released. I've LOVE to hear Allison's I Want More recorded!

I loved Lestat & want it released also. Unlike Bryan, I have a grasp of reality about it & know it will not be released

re: flops shows that need to be on cd

It won't be. There was a website set up to try and get the word out about it to try and get it released but the people in charge of it haven't done anything for it since August. I know it will never be released unless I randomly find it many years from now on a rack at the store. I don't think thay any show should have to go without a cast recording. The cast works so hard for it....it's not their fault they aren't given anything to work with.

It's even fun to *gasp* participate in them sometimes-just to feel like you're a part of something bigger than life....the amazing byran thread count.

Although it wasn't a flop I would have loved a recording of Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life

Uh, Aladdin, Chita's show was a flop.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
