Soooo since it is closing does anyone know how it sold? It's closing 5 months early and I was wondering is that because they couldn't find a good enough cast to replace the one leaving or because tix sales have been dreary.

anyone have any info? I hear the theater scene in London isn't doing well in this horrid worldwide economy.

west end is not doing to bad at all to be honest, not from what i am hearing. theatres die off in London in the summer anyway so these are the quiet months.
i have just got back from seeing Hair yesterday in london for the first ever time of seeing it and was blown away by it.
The cast were just amazin they quite simply prove what many casts should be like. The singing made me so emotional, i simply cant describe how much i loved it.
The problem is and i have found this from most people i have spoken to about Hair, they just dont know of it or anything about it. I only know cus im a theatre buff but many people are not, and shows only last either if they are known or if they are a success, or have has many reality shows stars as they can!!!
I really wish i could force my freinds to go and see this, but without knowing about it and a price tag of £62.50 it just aint that easy.
I will defo be going to see this once or twice more before it closes and i wish the cast and crew every success.

Swansea thats not right.

Hair has not done well at all here, many nights the circle etc is closed with just the stalls (orchestra open) and even thats half empty. It got rave reviews but somehow just did not find an audience. I think it has more to do with the state of the West End at the moment more than anything.

No one has to pay 62 pounds to see Hair It's always at the TKTS booth in Leicester Square for slightly over half price.

Faced with these Loreleis, what man can moralize!

Mine was £25 (Dayseat) :P

It was full when I went (albeit it was like 2 Saturday nights after it opened), but I have heard it has slipped a lot and they just can't get people in.
