It's funny that these are called "Be-In" seats, since I feel like you'd be much less a part of the action. I doubt the actors will go to the box seats when they interact with the audience.

I don't understand why the article on playbill says you will have a unique experience. I mean unless they define unique as not being able to see the show.
lol

Stop.
I love how slowly Broadway is turning the rush and lotteries into **** for the younger fans. Like honestly? They're selling the front row as full view? Rush is now going up to like 40 bucks a seat (Billy Elliot if I'm mistaken) and the lotteries are appearing more than rush. It seems ridiculous for me.

If anyone could take a guess, would you say it'll be crowded or not tomorrow night? I have the option of buying 1 ticket from someone, or waiting to try lotto tomorrow night so my dad can go with me (and he doesn't want to sit separately, he'd rather not go apparently). Any suggestions?

If he does not want to go then just buy the single ticket. Lottery may be very hard tomorrow.
CountryGirl...I would reccomend just buying the ticket. I think that since it's the first preview AND a friday night, it might be crowded. It's you call though.

I guess he wants to go, he just doesn't want to sit in a different place then me... I don't know. I guess I'm waiting to see what he says.

Well if you don't understand why, maybe you should not see the show and save the tickets for someone who will actually care.

I think any seat for a broadway show is fine for 25 dollars...even if it is partial view. You get what you pay for...or sometimes even more than you paid for...but that's not the case for hair.
Oh, once they receive enough complaints from full price ticket buyers who paid to sit in the obstructed front row, I'm sure they will include that in the lotto, as well. Shouldn't take too long.
I've had the SAME seats EVERY TIME I've been at the Hirsch... C-ORCH / Row B / 106 and/or 107 (Depending on the show). For WEDDING SINGER, CURTAINS and TALE OF TWO CITIES, respectively. It doesn't seem like ROW A's all that bad ... Why is there so much talk about it being obstructed? Just sayin'.

Do they do lottery for Wednesday matinees? If so, what time? I figure it's about time I see this show. How has the lottery been lately?
They do a lottery for every show. The lotto info is on their site.
"Why is there so much talk about it being obstructed?"
Because the stage is so damn high that you miss a lot of what happens upstage. For example, in the Wedding Singer, there was a scene where Robbie was on a bed, and I could not see him or the bed at all.

I sat in the front row and the view is excellent! I saw everything, so I am not sure if they lowered the stage or what(possible?), but it is not high at all. I was able to look straight ahead...no neck strain.

Yes, but mywonderwa11 doesn't know how to check anything himself. He'd rather ask people so he has more time left over to impersonate people via e-mail in order to screw their career over. Very sane (he said sarcastically)
"Do they do lottery for Wednesday matinees?"
I thought they don't have Wednesday matinees.
They don't have a matinee on Wednesdays...doubles on the weekends.
On telecharge it shows Hair as having a matinee this Wednesday and then one show on Sunday. I wonder why this change was made. (It is only for this week)
Mmmm....interesting, indeed. Testing the waters perhaps??
