What's so amazing about it? Everyone has seen Les Miz 2-3-4-5+ times by now after 21 years of playing worldwide. Btw, Spring Awakening also made more money than Cabaret and Miss Saigon combined! Now, that is truly amazing.
I like money.

Good! For awhile I was worried it wouldn't last through May. I bought tickets for my 18th birthday, stage seats! Now that's a celebration if I do say so myself.

i think its amazing because SA was no where near Les Mis's grosses since they began and for a week it seems like the trend might be turning. Hence: amazing.
I really hope this is an on going trend, and SA eventually breaks it's peak from the holiday season.
I really wanted to join the Street Team, but alas I'm 16 and I have no friends that would want to go.
But YAY for Spring Awakening. I'm so happy it's making money.

Winter = few tourists = small market for Les Miz.

It also beat Tarzan and Rent (by miles!) and cam close to Phantom. Its done really well. Wish they would release box office figures for the West End.
It beat out 16 other shows. Congrats!
