From what I've heard (from people who work backstage), it's coming any day now.

I am so looking forward to the grinch! My favorite Seuss story of all time! Sorry to the cast of hot feet!

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

The clips on i different site looked obnoxious. Nothing looked good. It did look kind of like a community theatre too

The clips do not do the show justice. This is one of those things where you have to be there to experience the full impact of the show. There's a definate energy and memory lane feeling in person.

What was the name of Candida's 'cousin'?

I wonder how it will do. It's such a big theater, but it might do good business. I doubt it costs that much in running costs. I kind of sucks for the people of Hot Feet. They haven't announced a closing date yet; however, they know they're going to be out of work by the end of summer.

I'll agree that the clip on the Globe site is an odd clip from the show. I don't think audiences are going to be disappointed. Seussical the Musical it is NOT. It really is one of the most beautiful stories to see come to life on stage. I'm jealous I won't be there to see it.

Canadia's cousin was like Jeanette2.

I agree, I have seen The Grinch every year since I was about nine.

Ostis33, I think worked on the show and is right on, that it is a beautiful story on stage.

I know this may sound naive...but is there any way for Grinch and Hot Feet to share the space? I haven't seen HOT FEET, so are the sets elaborate or minimal? I saw Elegies at Lincoln Center early in its run ($20 tickets!!!) and it shared the same stage as the drama-Ulster (?). Maybe a split week perhaps? I don't know of the equity rules about all this stuff!

i dont think HOT FEET would want to go through all the trouble to try that- they're hardly making any money on a full week of performances!
but good suggestion...

No, because the thread was deleted after Canadia and her "cousin" and the person who lived in her cousins head, had a mental breakdown. I think Canadia was banned

No. Grinch is planning on doing a 12 performance week schedule, 8 of those performances (the usual number of performances for a Broadway show per week) will be on weekends alone.

Can someone please explain to me how they will be doing 8 shows in one weekend? I can only imagine it will go something like:

Friday: 5:00 and 8:00
Saturday: 12:00, 4:00, and 8:00
Sunday: 12:00, 3:00, and 6:00

The San Diego production clocks in at about 72 minutes. I know they've added a tiny bit to the NYC production, but I can't imagine it going over an hour 20minutes. It's a pretty easy show to through. Although, it's an awful lot for the Grinch and Young Max. That 8 show weekend would be a killer for those two roles.

I cannot believe The Grinch is going to be a Broadway musical. Ugh.

A Lot of the HOT FEET people can't wait for the Drama to end and Some have already departed the sinking ship!

And others can't get out of their contracts for Better projects.
