^yes, seriously, its just... an altogether amazing show :) (havn't actually seen it yet, I'm going july 9th yayyy, but.. let's just say I know a lot about it haha) I can't imagine it going off anytime soon. I mean, sure, it might not run for like... 10 years, but I'd give it at VERY least a few more years! Although.. I do wonder if it will hold up after the OBC is replaced.. because.. SOOO much of why this show is so incredible is the cast. Like.. a good 95% of the reason I'm going to see it is for stephen, amy, felicia, and laura 
Stephen and Amy in particular, because I've been a HUUUUGE fan of both of them for like.. 5 years (I've basically been obsessed with stephen's comedy since I saw it the very first time on his comedy central special when it first came out hehe. He's friggin BRILLIANT). And, honestly, I just can't imagine ANYONE else even coming CLOSE to stephen in this show.. haha. It's just like.. the show was basically MEANT for him :) but, eeeven without the stellar OBC I think it'll hold up for a while at least! cause it really does have AMAZING music and it is quite hysterical :P

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Yeah, I kind of wonder what will happen when some of the OBC leaves the show. Will it go on without them? Although I guess if there's a tour, people have to be willing to see other people in the roles.

Well look at Wicked, people still keep coming back regardless of the cast.
I think it will run through the end of the year, but with the new shows opening in the fall it might loose some of its audience. It will do great business on tour though.

Yeah, I might be going back May of next year and it would be really awesome if it was still open I could go see it yet ANOTHER time. :)

Didn't Hot Feet have something like 35% attendance last week? Less than that, I believe.

I don't understand/see the point of the DRS comparison...
Wedding Singer's a cute show and I liked it...but DRS made much more money in its opening, and got far better reviews.
And I laughed quite a bit at Wedding Singer--but not at all on the level I did when I first saw DRS and maybe still do. Even the worst audiences at DRS(and I've seen it with them) I think laugh more during that show than the best at Wedding Singer.
And it's really not a romantic comedy. The most important relationship in the show is between Lawrence and Freddy, and their relationship is not romantic.

I'm sure Stephen and Laura will both leave after their year is up, but I'd bet it closes before then anyway. They might make it to New Year's, but I wouldn't count on seeing it in '07.
