I was thinking the same thing. A lot of people start out as lurkers/readers and when they find a topic they are passionate about, they join and post. Then there are those who join to shill or trash a show, but we ain't gonna go there. Everyone knows who they are.

i think people probably joined last night who either are in wicked or were at the show and wanted to clarify the BS started by some people on the boards that are untrue rumors. rightfully so...

And I joined the 8th, but not just because of Idina, but I had always read basically just the Adam Pascal stuff and couldn't stand it anymore during his week of TV appearances...I had to join! ...I'm new to Wicked and am still dying to see it and meet Idina, but do you guys know what she'll be doing next (besides the Rent movie) ?

Hi! I just joined tonight and it was not just to discuss Idina, but I honestly did not know this page existed until the situation with Idina started. This is because broadwayworld.com was the only place where people could receive updated news instead of just once daily :) also, there seems to be a great deal of interesting topics to discuss and share with all sorts of people. I don't know about everyone else but that was my reason to join :)

Thanks, Liam, for taking the time to make a list of all the newbies. Were you just bored? Every message board should have such a welcome...geez! And yes, I'm being sarcastic if you can't tell. It seemed like you were trying to make people targets. Congrats, what a great way to spend your time. So what? Yes, I joined to find out some news about Idina. BIG DEAL! I actually was looking on craigslist for tickets and came across some posts warning not to spend hundreds of dollars on tickets just to see her final performance cause Idina was injured and not going to be there. People like to stir things up so I searched the web to see if there was any truth to this and came across this site. So sue me if I joined just to find out/discuss her injury and final performance. And to all of you defending yourselves about WHY you recently joined, that's pathetic. You guys shouldn't have to defend yourself. People can join this board for any reason they want to. Sorry to go on about this...I can't beleive I already spent this much energy typing this...
