Rose, go see Rent. Go. See. Rent. Go. Wicked is good, too *coughseenbootscough* How likely are the mods to delete that?

I'm just praying he doesn't come looking at this thread! I promise I'll go soon though...it's not easy being a poor college student lol!
A tour of "Cats" is not "Cats." Unless you've seen the Broadway or London versions, you have not seen "Cats." it is a good show.

I know, I know. If it comes by or I can get to New York, I will, I promise!! I might see "Wicked", but there are shows I would rather see first, and I don't have a pressing desire to see it, like I do with the other three I mentioned. *sigh* If only I made more money...
insomniak, I was refering to T.M_Cara.
Marc= Marc Shaiman who wrote the music for Hairspray
I don't know, why would you tell a mod?
*coughme2cough*
Thanks for the mountain dew broadwaystar2b. You always have the drink ready for me when I need it.
judy_in_disguise, I am on my knees asking for your forgiveness. I live too far away to go to broadway and too poor to go see shows on a regular basis (college student). But, I actually know a lot about musical theatre for someone who has not seen that many. I have almost 100 cast recordings.
Am I forgiven?

I thought "don't tell marc" meant that "Marc" was a mod and I should keep quiet. Now I'm just confused.

Spidey, you're forgiven
We still love you!!
And i haven't seen Hairspray yet either. BUt it's still too new to count under this topic.

yeah kids - i don't mean like hairspray or wicked - i mean like CLASSICS! things that everyone has seen, even people who aren't theatre buffs!
i know it's not a classic or anything like that but it's something that almost everyone on this board has probably seen....

true true ... ok it counts - so anything you at all that you haven't seen that might be considered as an "outrage" to the BWW community!
Thoroughly Modern Cara ~ YOU must do rush or SRO from one poor college student to another Hairpsray is so worth it!
I have never seen cats my parets saw it with out me and refused to see it again so I lost out, I think I'll live.

Gypsy. I love the music and everything and own all of the cast recordings (plus the movie), but have yet to see this wonderful show.
Oh and about a hundred other shows.

Gypsy
42nd Street
Cats - but I really had no desire to see CATS.
I have never seen:
Cats
The Sound of Music
Oliver
Gyspy
Hairspray
And the only show at which I ever walked out during intermission:
The Man of La Mancha (but it was my third time, just a bad production)
I have never seen...
The Phantom of the Opera.
(And it really doesn't bother me.)
I've never seen RENT (and I'm still not sure I want to spend time with those characters).
Flowery--SHAMEFUL.
Morosco--RENT rocks. Give it a chance
