Hello....this is probably a dumb question, but i just want to see what people think
the doubt tour is coming to philadelphia, the city i go to college in. if i want to see it (and get a school-sponsered discussion with cherry jones), it requires me staying at school for a couple of extra days.....since my family will probably annoy me after a day of being home this summer anyway, i don't mind staying the extra time.....but only if this tour is just absoultely incredible. can people who have seen it tell me? obviously i know cherry jones is great in the role.....is it worth staying at school all by myself??? haha

I LOVED it. I had never seen it, and saw it in Boston a little while ago. It definitely had a lasting impression on me that few shows have. I say do it.

i saw it on Broadway and they did a great job recreating it for the tour. it's still SO powerful
singingshowgirl, if you don't want your ticket, I'll take it.
I'd love to see it, but I won't be able to. Boooo.
saw the tour in chicago and it was absolutely amazing.....go see it!
Cherry Jones gave one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen in any medium. And she's a sweetheart. I adore her.
My friend saw it in Detroit (I think) and loved it.
if you like plays...then go ahead but then if you are mostly into musical.....it's also okay but then I kinda felt there was something missing.
Be a part of the "Doubt Phenomenon" and it will keep you thinking till the end.
Cherry Jones and the entire cast were phenomenal and definitely very professional though I kinda thought she kinda "over-acted" as a nun but then maybe because she was also trying to be funny at times.
There are poignant parts of the story and at times will make you even teary eyed.
Go for the rush tickets if they offer it...for $20, you can never go wrong.

Yes it is extremely worth it!
And Cherry has to be the kindest person in the entire world.
I just saw DOUBT in Charlotte, NC this past weekend. Cherry is a force of nature on that stage. DO NOT miss this opportunity under any circumstance. The rest of the cast is exceptional to boot.

a great play, a great cast, how can you miss......god, it's good to see a post that's not about a musical
I just got my tix for the final peformance on May 20. I'm in the very front of the theatre, where they add chairs on. I'll be up close and personal.I've never seen it before, so I am really looking foward to it.
I saw it from the front row and Cherry rocked my world. I laughed and cried. Cherry Jones is the best actress on the planet!
Yes, yes, and YES!
It is a brilliant play and Cherry Jones' performance is an acting masterclass.
