I enjoyed the book. I expected some cruel attacks, and I was glad to see there weren't any, in my opinion.
It was also interesting to read that this book was originally supposed to be a published version of his notes for Sam Mendes on GYPSY. Arthur eventually realized it was coming off as an attack on Sam, and he didn't want to do that.
Also, his love for Tom is really beautiful and touching.
