Posted: 6/2/04 at 9:43amI'll never understand all the Kristen bashing on this site - she seems like a perfectly normal, talented young woman to me. What business is it of ours which religion she chooses to follow or what God she prefers to believe in? As long as she's not hurting anyone, I say let her live her life as she sees fit.

And I suppose you have some nice literature you want me to read too, huh?
I have nothing against Kristen. I would lay her in a second. She can beat a bible or fling her Holy water anywhere she wants.
I'm just having fun...because I have something called...what is it? Oh, yes...a sense of humor.
Hmm...am I the only one who possesses this beautiful thing?

Posted: 6/2/04 at 9:56amI have a sense of humor also - but lately there has been a lot of christian bashing on this site (and, don't get me wrong, I am not a christian) I just think people should be left to believe what they like. To each his own, I say. My sense of humor does not involve degrading others for their beliefs (which I've noticed in all my years in showbusiness, many performers seem to love to do) There is fun, and then there is fun at other's expense, and I don't belive in that kind of fun. Sorry if it sounds preachy. I'm just sick of people who seem to have nothing better to do than to tear others apart. (for whatever reason)

Praise Him. Or Her.
Redhot- you ever seen the movie Sister Act? Let's get together sometime and watch it. I learned all I needed to know from those two movies.

Posted: 6/2/04 at 7:40pmKristin is a Christian and many articles have discussed her faith over the years. She grew up in a Southern Baptist Church, which is where she got her start on singing. Crosswalk.com (a christian website), if I recall correctly, discussed her faith when she started her TV show.

Hey Dgrant, you dont have to cloud it in silly putty. Your opinion came across very clear. Guideposts is a goofy christian publication. its your opinion, stick with it.
I formed my opinion from other articles, and i am still very much of the opinion that the article was very self aware, and very well written. Im not afraid to say that its bad, but its not.

bobo, I wasn't really into your line of argument, but now I think you have a point. Everyone's religious beliefs or their sprirituality is their own business.
I, for one, am a phallic worshipper and would not want someone trying to convert me or convince me I'm misguided.
