who do you think should be cast??

I think Reese Witherspoon should reprise her role as elle
as for the rest, who knows who they will choose... maybe Zac efron for Warner?

If they did it, I think they should have Kenny Ortega direct and choreograph. They should keep it young with a new generation. Bailey would do well with this target audience as would Zac E, but they'd screw up up and cast someone like Britney and kill it! LOL

I think Reese has had enough success in her career that she doesn't need to be in *that.* She probably wants to be in movies that have a potential to not completel blow. This movie would not have such potential.

Elle-Kristin Chenoweth (I know she's older than Reese, but she played 18 year old Glinda, why not 20 something Elle? The show was written for her.
Emmet-"Legally Courderoy: The Search for the Next Emmet" (sorry, had to say that), I was thinking John lloyd Young?
Warner-Zac Efron would be perfect for this role, really, he would, but if not, how about James Marsden (Though he could play either Warner or Emmet)
Callahan-If he wasn't as short, Patrick Dempsey, though I could see either Victor Garber, or even someone like Tim Curry would work.
Paulette-Queen Latifah would be perfect, though I'd love to see Raven Symone in this role, if she was a little older. (I know Paulette is... wait... do they ever really say that she has to be blonde? Either way, both of those two are perfect) (Merle Streep? Anyone?)
Viviene-Idina Menzel could pull it off, though I'd love to see Sutton Foster or some other stage actress try and make it to the big screen.

No. When Amber Efe went on as Paulette, she was never blonde. I don't remember if Gaeleen wore a blonde wig, either.

I can't even begin to imagine how creepy it would look for Reese to play Elle to Zac Efron's Warner. The age difference would look HUGE on screen.

And Kristin Chenoweth played an 18-year-old Glinda ON STAGE. The camera is not nearly so forgiving.

Kristin is 40. Glinda's age is never revealed, someone with her brain probably wouldn't be in college until she is ATLEAST 20. Either way, she played her on STAGE, on STAGE, on STAGE. With STAGE makeup and STAGE lighting. if you don't get the point the keyword is STAGE.

emmett- andy karl (liked him so much better than christian borle
warner- zac efron (would have to agree with everyone else)

i would seriously love to see the obc to be in it except the original pilar and serena bc they were WAAAAYYYYYY to old to even star in the show.

About 3/4 of these ages do not make sense for casting.

There was already a Legally Blonde movie, and stage musical (which was recorded and shown on tv). Does this really need to be filmed?

And with the tour currently running, no way are they going to waste money and tape this. There are so many other shows that need to be taped for posterity over this. This show barely lasted over a year, they are not going to spend the money to tape it, they would not recoup the costs.

Also about Zac, shouldn't the actor playing Warner be older than Elle? I always got the impression he was older than her. Zac could make an excellent pool boy however...
