I got my copy from Best Buy (It was only $8.99) and in addition to the bonus DVD, autographed libretto, hologram cover and bonus CD of Elton John performing the entire score, it came with a second bonus CD of the "Good Vibrations" cast album! What a treat it was to hear that glorious recording at last.
Sadly I went to pick up a copy for a friend's christmas gift and was told it was no longer available. Sure glad I got one!

As hysterical as this post is, Bryan you should know that it hasn't been released, so you can quit running around looking for it. It was recorded and I assume will one day surface. I don't know why they don't release it through iTunes or something, so they don't have to actually make CDs that will probably never move, but who knows.
Also look on eBay, the link below has someone who is selling a demo CD.
And I for one, would enjoy a Lennon CD.

Have you guys discovered the hidden track on the WalMart special edition set yet? 20 seconds after track 18 on disc 2 you get to hear an authentic 35 second long sound clip of Warner Brothers flushing 15 million dollars down the toilet.
On a serious note, Bryan my friend, you are a victim of bad timing. The closing notice for Lestat was posted one day after the big recording session with the band. This is why there probably won't be an itunes release any time soon. There is no rough mix, there aren't even vocal fixes done on this thing. It's just a bunch of raw tracks sitting on a hard drive in a closet somewhere. If the show had closed one week later there probably would be a bootleg version of the album somewhere online. I strongly doubt anyone involved feels like spending one more dime on it.
But please feel free to ask about it again, this has been fun.
