I am still staring at the cover, it is breathtaking.
Personally I'm the proud owner of the UK release of the CD which consists of David Furnish singing every track.
I have the edition only issued to a select few. Mine is a 2 CD edition with the second cd chock full of cut songs
Elton signed mine......right after he left our candle light supper last night.
Sir Elton visited us in our hotel room last Staurday to give it to us & sang a few numbers for us. He also told me that he was reviving it with Hugh Jackman in the title role
Well I bought my copy on vinyl, and if you play the record backwards you hear Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
Omg I just got the Lestat CD...love all the bonus features!
And guess what?!?!??!?!?!?!?! I got the Good Vibrations one! Love it?!?!?!?! Why didn't it win any Tonys? Bryan will be absolutely thrilled now that he will never EVER have to make posts again about when these CDs will be released!
Speaking of the liner notes, did anyone else notice that there is a list of the next 6 actresses to play Elpheba?
I never realized Elton John also wrote Wicked! How cool is that?
This has gone on too far. You guys have too much time to prate on something that other people appreciate.
I just special ordered the Australian cast recording of Lestat starring Anthony Warlow, David Campbell, and Marina Prior. I can't wait for it to arrive!
BTW -- when I ordered in online at Amazon I was given a discount code for 20% off the In My Life OBC!
can someone please give me some sites that would possibly still have some copies.....im having trouble finding it and i desperatly want a copy....
If only Bryan had started this thread sooner, he would have found out all this valuable information. Now I'm afraid it might be too late, as I think the Lestat CD was only in limited release.

Well, either way, I'm looking forward to the next edition of the "Sondheim sings" cds. This time "Vol. 3: Sondheim sings Lestat". I've heard a few clips. Just marvellous!
If you listen closely, you can hear me cough on track 4.
Don't forget the bonus track with Harvey Firesteen singing the cut songs

Guys, this has gone far enough!
(I'm not just saying this to bump the thread either, honest)
Did anyone else notice that they mispelled the word "flop" on the Jack Noseworthy themed Lestat happy meal?
I did find McDonald's choice of toys to be interesting though.

Yes, my two year old sister found the "Write your own vampire show kit" quite enlightening.
P.S. Has any one called the number on the base of the Bernie Taupin Action Hero? It gives you directions to Elton's secret hideaway in Atlanta where he wrote it. And you can even play the organ where he played the score for the first time!!!

some of you guys are very mean and i hate that i know it is not out because talkin broadway new relase list says that it has no date and it is still on hold for now.
Bryan, we're not mean. We just can't take your repetative, annoying, non-puntuated (I believe I just made up a word there everybody.) posts.
And here's a hint to everybody on the board-
If no one really gives a **** about what Bryan has to say, let's not post anymore! How's that?

You should start a petition on the net regarding it's release! Im sure there are many people around the world who love this musical and as the record company won't tell the difference between honest and sarcastic signatures you could probably also get a lot of support from this board. Sir Elton could easily finance the project by avoiding to pay for furnish. One week or one room would be enough.

Aww, there'll soon be more than enough money to release it. After all, haven't you heard?! A revival on Broadway is almost due to happen!
This time it might even run for MORE than 4 weeks...
