I heard from a couple of people that Norbert will be there until Feb. unless (and hopefully) reniues his contract.

I had a thread about this a week ago. Norbert is there till Febuary (where then he either renuews or leaves) btu I have no clue as to when Litghow leaves.

puttin this back up to see if anyone knows when lithgow is leaving...

i heard from some people that lithgow is already gone, except i thought he was coming back from a vacation or something?

When is he leaving... I definetly gotta get tickets so i can see em both there.

boy-oh-BOY did I misunderstand the title to this thread...glad I didn't say what I was GONNA say...whew!

Greg Jbara told me that everybody is renegotiationg their contract. He isn't sure about John Lithgow and he said that he may leave in January. But even Norbert is going to renegotiate, but they're not sure how long. Greg says if permitted he'd (meaning Greg) wanna be in this show this time next year, lol. So everybody but John is renegotiating for sure.

Liz, I think Sherie's doing another show in Februaryish. I wasn't expecting her to renew...hmm

Jan 18th was what I heard about John's most likely departure date. Its a very demanding role for the guy so I would not be too surprised if he decided to leave. Who they get to replace him is a different story. I doubt Norbert will leave anytime soon (maybe March or hopefully next Sept.) but as for Sherie, I know she is leaving or that new show. I am hoping that Michelle Federer moves in and takes over so we can see those two lovebirds on stage together for the first time since Wicked (even then they never acted together). But I am not sure whether she has the voice or acting for the role. Maybe they will even get engaged while doing the show together. That would be awesome.

I can't pretend to know much about the goings on of DRS... Is Michelle coming over and taking Sherie's role after she leaves? Also, I only know Michelle from Wicked... so do you think she can pull off this role [if indeed she is coming to DRS.]?

I have no idea if she was offered the role but I really like Michelle and her voice. She is underused as Nessarose in Wicked (as was Norbert as Fiyero) but I imagine she could pull it off. Not sure what range you need to be to play Christine Colgate.
