So true. There is nothing wrong with controlled obession. I myself have a number of hobbies that can border on obessive but I have worked hard to maintain balance. When such activaties start to bleed into daily activity, then it becomes a problem. That is when the psychopatholoy begins.

WRQ, I actually saw the Trekkies and most people in the movie were quite fine. That dentist was very funny and showed a smart way of incorporating his two loves. My comment about dressing up was just a passing comment. You can dress up whenever. Just seeing myself dressed as Elphaba parading in Time Square would however constitute an evaluation ^^

Whatever happened with this? I read back a little, seems like a bunch of you did go to some showing. Did Fredi actually go along too? I got a few emails from her (and the rest of you) back in Dec/Jan...but I ended up not being able to go the day it was planned for, but then I don't remember hearing anything else about it. And now it seems as though Fredi has disappeared (as well as Anthony) from the face of this forum. ....However, I'm assuming they just want to keep distance as the 10th anniv show comes creeping up. They're probably both worried they'll be hounded by people asking for tickets or something. ?

Anyway, yeah...just wondering if the movie thing happened, if she did in fact go with, and how it was.
