re: movin out act 1 finale

i agree the finale of act 1 is so powerful. anyone aruging that there is no "acting" in this show is proven wrong during this scene...their facial expressions say it all.. no talking or singing. its amazing.

and why is everyone getting all worked up about this?!?! YankeesFan175 did write SPOILER in the subject, indicating that there was information about the plot of the show. and if you read the playbill theres a plot summary that tells you he dies, as does the summary on Movin' Out's website! geez...ppl need to calm down.

re: movin out act 1 finale

Why would I kid like this? That isn't my personality. if you know anything about me, you'd know that.

re: movin out act 1 finale

Honestly, knowing that fact doesn't spoil the show. It's not like someone gave away the plot to Wicked or something. Movin' Out's strong point isn't in its plot anyway, it's all about the dance, the music, and emotion. And yes, the act one finale is one of the more emotional finales I've seen in a show, even without words.

re: movin out act 1 finale

There is no such thing as Les Miserables. I made it up. Nobody would be stupid enough to try to adapt it a musical. As far as Wicked?? goes I haven't even heard of such a show. Orpheum, I appreciate you attempt to lighten the mood but I am very much serious.

Dreadfully sorry, old chap - carry on...

re: movin out act 1 finale

Well, then, I'm very sorry for you because it appears to me that you are taking it far too seriously. I didn't even act this way when I found out about the ending of the new Harry Potter book before I finished it. Go see Movin' Out. It's a great show. And you're encouraged to read the synopsis before seeing it. I mean, it's in the Playbill for a reason.

re: movin out act 1 finale

i read that synopsis a good 4 months before i saw the show and it really didnt ruin a thing. that part of the show is obvioulsy meant to be known, otherwise it wouldnt be in the playbill.

You would laugh at that you stubborn, self righteous, immature lunatic.

re: movin out act 1 finale

Um, because that was mature, sum. Come on, get over it, you found out, it's done and over with. And when/if you see the show, you'll know that it's not that big a deal.

re: movin out act 1 finale

Who are you to lecture me? Did you spend your own hard earned lemonade stand money on a show that you've been wanting to see for years? Did you make sure you know no facet of the plot? Did you put all that effort into it only to have it ruined in one fell swoop. You sir are not worth the time I just gave you. I sold lemonade all summer for those seats.

re: movin out act 1 finale

And I spent $25 for a front row center student rush seat. What's your point? I didn't know much about the plot when I saw it either until I read the plot synopsis in the Playbill (which is, again, there for a reason). I'm not lecturing you. I'm just saying why don't you just enjoy the show and stop complaining? All of this won't erase it from your memory. And if you didn't want to know anything about the plot, then why did you open up this thread to begin with? Just let it go and enjoy the show, all right?
