music for See What I Wanna See

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about weather or not music (Vocal Selections or Vocal Score) for "See What I Wanna See" will be published. Or, if Michael John LaChiusa happens to read this - is there any way to purchase the music for a song from "See What I Wanna See".
Thanks for any help!!

I think he means the Vocal Selections. Vocal Scores aren't often published for more recent shows.

I'm all for that. I would love to perform a couple of these songs. Though I can't imagine an accompanist playing it well without a lot of practice. On the sh-k-boom website, they list SWIWS as having good audition songs. They just don't have the music for it.

Contact Michael Lavine at BroadwayMHL@aol.com. I know he definitely has the music for "See What I Wanna See" and pretty much anything else you might be looking for.

I've emailed him and he says he doesn't have it. Honestly I wouldn't put people's email address on public boards without their permission.

It is not cool to post other people's names and e-mail addressees on a public board. I suggest you remove that immediately. It's just stupid.

What's also stupid would be to use any of the songs for SWIWS as an audition number.

Bah, it depends on who you are, what song it is and how well you do it. I personally wouldn't bring any of them in. But there are 1 or 2 songs I could see being done well by the right person.

Enchanted the Bitter was only saying that because he/she harbours a deep hatred for Michael John's work. Probably because it requires thought and an active audience, or something like that.

ANYway, I would imagine most of it would be difficult for an accompanist to sight read, but even so, I think just having the opportunity to work on the music with a voice teacher could be a good learning experience anyway, whether or not the pieces end up as audition material.

Michael told me that they will most likely become availble in the near future.

Please refrain from use of people's first and last name. I'm serious. It's not cool. If you don't understand why, then please PM me.

Personally, Ensign Liza Minnelli has a good point.
