I've been a lurker/reader of these boards for ages and finally got around to registering to post and join all of you!
Now, for my question, there used to be a list floating around somewhere, with all the songs from The Last Five Years in chronological order of how they happen. I'm directing the show this summer and I made a list of my own, but I want to see the other one to see if I'm accurate. Anyone know what I'm talking about and/or where I can find it.
Thanks!

Welcome!
I didn't know of a particular list, but I could try to do it myself. Is that what you're looking for, or like and official one?
Welcome to the boards! Hmmm... not sure about your question... if you went online you could probably find it. (The list of the songs in order I mean...) If it was something that was specifically on Broadwayworld I guess you could try the search button (that can be a pain though :))

thanks for all the welcomes
um, if someone is interested in making the list and posting it, i'll take that. like i said, i made one and i just need to get a second opinion to see if i'm crazy. when i did mine, i broke some songs in half, like a miracle would happen, goodbye until tomorrow, next ten minutes, etc.
i really appreciate your help. i'm looking forward to directing this show, but a little nervewracked!!!

Tre, go to message board main page, and click 'search' and type in what youre looking for. I seem to recall that list, but i dont remember where.
1. Still Hurting
2. Shiksa Goddess
3. See I'm Smiling
4. Moving Too Fast
5. A Part of That
6. The Schmuel Song
7. A Summer in Ohio
8. The Next Ten Minutes
9. A Miracle Would Happen/When You Come Home to Me
10. Climbing Uphill
11. If I Didn't Believe in You
12. I Can Do Better Than That
13. Nobody Needs to Know
14. Goodbye Until Tomorrow/I Could Never Rescue You
That was the tracklist from Amazon. Don't know if it's what you're looking for but generally, songs in a musical happen in the way that they are listed on the recording.
Hope that helped and welcome to the boards.

The songs go in the order of how they are on the cd...The woman starts from the end of the marriage and the man starts from the beginning...It's already in order.
I believe the chronological order of L5Y is this:
Shiksa Goddess
Goodbye till Tomorrow
I Can Do Better Than That
Movin Too Fast
Climbing Uphill
The Schumel Song
The Next Ten Minutes
A Miracle Would Happen
A Summer in Ohio
A Part Of That
If I Didn't Believe In You
Nobody Needs to Know
See I'm Smiling
I Could Never Rescue You
Still Hurting
the show order is as listed in the post above mine
and welcome!

It might confuse you a bit, because the woman tells the story from end to begining, and the guy sings it begining to end, all the songs except two are solos, the excepted includes the cross over in teh middle 'The Next 10 Minutes' where they get engaged and then the finale 'Goodbye until tomorrow' where she is excited about their future at the begining of the relationship and he is saying goodbye to the relationship.
Hope thats what you were unsure on??

Doesn't Sweetapple714 seem a little bit suspicious. I know that idinamenzelfan(whatever numbers) came back a number of times after cooling off a bit... or from what I've read that's the case. Sweetapple said that she/he has been reading the boards for a long time and finally decided to join. This was the same thing that what idinafan said when she came back again. Maybe it's just a coincidence... or maybe not...
Is anyone else the least bit suspicious or am I just crazy?
i think youre just crazy. most people join the boards after reading for a while. i know i did.
Ok, sorry Sweetapple
